The Flow of God’s Purpose

.Scripture: Ezekiel 47:1-5

Have you ever felt like there’s more to your relationship with God than what you’re experiencing right now? Maybe you pray, read your Bible, and go to church, but deep down, you know there’s another level waiting for you. You feel the pull—but are you ready to step in?

In Ezekiel 47:1-5, the prophet Ezekiel sees a vision of a river flowing from the temple. At first, the water is ankle-deep, then knee-deep, then waist-deep, until eventually, it becomes a rushing river so deep he can’t stand—he has to swim. This is a perfect picture of how God calls us to deeper places with Him.

At the ankle level, we’re just getting our feet wet—attending church, reading a few Scriptures, playing it safe. Knee-deep, we start praying more, worshiping more, but we still like to keep control. Waist-deep, we feel God’s power moving, but we hesitate to fully surrender. And then there’s the deep water—where faith takes over, where we let go, where we trust God to carry us completely.

Where Are You Right Now?

Be honest with yourself—are you staying in shallow water? Are you afraid to go all in because you don’t know what it will cost? Maybe you’re holding onto old habits, doubts, or even the fear of what people will say if you fully commit to walking in your calling.

But here’s the truth: God is calling you deeper because there’s more waiting for you. More peace. More revelation. More supernatural encounters. More clarity about your purpose. But you won’t find it by standing where it’s safe—you have to step out into the deep.

This is a season where God is stirring the waters. He is calling His people to move beyond surface-level faith into a place where His power flows freely. For too long, many have been playing it safe, waiting for the “right moment” to fully surrender. But the time is now.

If you’ve been feeling spiritually stuck, this is your sign to let go and trust God completely. The deeper you go, the more you will see, hear, and experience. You were never meant to stay where you started—God is leading you into the deep!

How to Step Into the Deep:

  1. Stop Playing It Safe – God isn’t asking for halfway surrender. Give Him your full “yes.”
  2. Let Go of Control – The deeper the water, the more you have to trust Him to carry you.
  3. Spend More Time in His Presence – Worship, prayer, and the Word will take you deeper.
  4. Move When He Calls You – Faith requires action. Don’t hesitate when God tells you to step forward.

If you’re ready pray this:

Father, I hear You calling me deeper, and today I say YES! No more standing in shallow places—I surrender to the flow of Your Spirit. I release my fears, my doubts, and my need to control everything. I trust You completely.

I declare that I am stepping into new levels of faith, clarity, and supernatural encounters. I will not be held back by fear or comfort—I am moving forward into the depths of Your presence.

The waters are rising, and I refuse to stay behind. I will swim in the flow of Your Spirit, and I will walk in my divine calling!

It is done, it is settled, and I step into the deep NOW! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Take Away:

If you’re feeling the pull to go deeper, don’t ignore it. This is your moment to say YES to God in a way you never have before.

Are you ready to step into everything He has for you? Take the leap. The deep is calling.
